Nokia is expanding mobility into a new arena by bringing wireless wide area connectivity for notebook users. Nokia has developed an HSDPA connectivity module for notebook computers, which Intel Corporation will deliver onwards to notebook manufacturers as part of its next-generation Intel® Centrino® Duo mobile technology platform. The connectivity module will be widely available as an embedded option in a variety of notebooks.

LG spread some rumours this weel about details of their comming new model - the VX-8600 phone for Verizon Wireless. It´s a slick black clamshell phone that get´s most of the packs most and features of the VX-8500 Chocolate but cramped into a thinner clamshell shape. Comparing it to the 8500, the 8600 has a lower-resolution display, but retains all other key features, including stereo Bluetooth, EVDO high-speed data, a megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, music player, and external touch controls. No official information about pricing or release date has been released yet. Altough it looks stunning!
Nokia today announced a new quad-band GSM/EDGE clamshell phone. The 6085 has the clean lines style of other recent models from the Finnish giant, like the 6125 and 6126. Features include a 262k color screen, monochrome external display, Flash Lite 2, VGA camera and Micro SD slot capable of using 2 GB cards. The 6085 is also the first mainstream handset from Nokia to include stereo Bluetooth for playing music from the audio player. It also includes an FM radio.
