Sling Media today announced SlingPlayer for iPhone, allowing SlingBox users to access their home TV and DVR from anywhere. The software is being demo’d this week, and will be submitted to Apple for approval this quarter.

Well, it certainly looks real to me, though guys from Engadget say that there’s something wrong with the font on the back of the handset. Real or not, a Red iPhone would definitely attract a lot of new buyers, and Apple should really consider releasing such a version….
